HTC One stops responding: troubleshooting tips
- In some cases, the bug will fix itself. So put your HTC One aside and wait two to three minutes.
- If the problem does not solve itself, press the power button while the display is active to switch off the display. Then press the power button again and try whether the device reacts again.
- Try to restart the device. To do this, hold down the power button for several seconds and select "Restart".
HTC One: smartphone does not respond - further information
- If HTC One cannot be restarted in the normal way, press and hold the power button and the volume up key for at least ten seconds. Then the smartphone restarts automatically.
- Make sure you don't use your HTC One in extreme outside conditions, such as extreme heat or freezing cold.
- In addition, the battery of the smartphone should always be sufficiently fully charged.
- Remember what you did last on your smartphone before it stopped responding. In some cases, special apps or insufficient storage space can cause such an error.
