Deactivate and remove HTC Sense - Here's how
HTC Sense is the default user interface of the HTC - but it also slows down the smartphone. Disabling HTC Sense will make your phone faster.
Deactivate and remove HTC Sense - how it works
- Open the settings on your HTC smartphone by tapping the small box icon in the bottom bar. In the new window, search for "Settings" from the large number of applications and tap on it.
- In the settings, scroll to the "Applications" menu item, open it by tapping and navigate here to "Manage applications". Depending on the number of applications on your HTC, it may take a while for all applications to appear.
- Now scroll down to "HTC Sense" in the list and select this application.
- An information window opens. Here you select "Start by default". Then tap "Clear default settings" once.
- Now press the "Home button" with the house symbol in the bottom bar. Another window opens. Here you have the choice between the user interfaces "HTC Sense" and "Home". To turn HTC Sense off, go to Home.
- You can of course reactivate HTC Sense at any time. Simply go through steps 1 to 5 and select "HTC Sense" instead of "Home".
