HTML: insert heading - how it works
If you are building your own website, you should always use HTML headings to structure your text. You can create headings of different orders and structure your posts better. We'll tell you exactly how this works in this article.
Insert heading in HTML
You can place a heading anywhere in the area in HTML. Depending on the order, you use a different element:
- Use the command "h1" for the first heading level. You should therefore enter the day at the beginning of the line

, You can find an example in our photo. - HTML differentiates between six different signature orders. You can reach this with the following tags: h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 or h6.
- h1 is the highest level and h6 the lowest. Of course, you don't have to use all levels in your text. So you can only use headings of level "h1".
