Represent ß in html - so it'll work
While you can simply enter and display normal letters in HTML, it is not so easy with "ß". We show you how you can still enter a ß in HTML.
HTML: Enter and display ß
Because the ß is not so easy to find in English, you can’t simply enter and display it in HTML. The letter is an umlaut that is only used in the German language.
- To display a ß in HTML, you have to use the following HTML notation:
- ß
- Tip: With UTF8 you can display umlauts directly in HTML.
Alternatively, you can first write your text in a Word document and have it converted to HTML.
