Sharp s, ä, ö and ü in HTML notation
Sometimes you have to use umlauts and the sharp s on your website. To ensure that these special characters appear correctly everywhere, you can use the following combinations:
- The sharp "s" - also known as "ß" - is represented by "ß".
- Describe the letters "Ä" and "ä" with "Ä" and "ä".
- The umlaut "ö" is represented by "ö". For a capital "Ö" enter "Ö" in HTML.
- With the combinations "ü" and "Ü" you replace ü and Ü.
