Huawei P20 (Pro): memory card and headphones - you need to know that
The Huawei P20 (Pro) also has neither a memory card slot nor a headphone jack. In this article we explain which alternatives the smartphone has to offer.
Huawei P20 (Pro): No space for a memory card
The Huawei P20 and the P20 Pro are among the most popular smartphones on the market. Especially the high performance and the flat design make the cell phone from China a real eye-catcher.
- However, the latter in particular has a disadvantage: since the P20 (Pro) is very compact, there is little space for additional equipment. In particular, the memory card slot had to give way.
- The fact that the memory of the smartphones cannot be expanded using a microSD card is only a minor annoyance due to the large internal memory of 128 GB. After all, there are effectively 114 GB available.
- If you don't have enough storage space, you can use various cloud services and store your data online. We also give you tips on how to free up space again.
Huawei P20 (Pro): No headphone jack
Like the memory card slot, the headphone jack falls victim to the slimming craze of the Huawei P20 (Pro). Of course, you don't have to do without music.
- For example, you can connect Bluetooth headphones to a smartphone and listen to music and make phone calls wirelessly. In terms of sound, the Bluetooth headphones are no longer inferior to their wired counterparts.
- On the other hand, the classic headphone connection can be retrofitted with an adapter for the USB Type C port of the mobile phone. Such adapters are already available for around 5 euros.
Despite the many savings, one thing has remained the same: You can also take and share a screenshot with the Huawei P20 (Pro). A detailed explanation of this can be found on the next page.
