The iCloud error 403 prevents the use of the service. We will show you step by step in this article how to fix the error and use iCloud as normal again.
How to fix iCloud and iCalender error 403
The iCloud error is triggered by the calendar. However, you can solve the problem quickly and easily:
- Open the Mac settings and go to the "iCloud" area. A list with all applications with iCloud access is shown. Remove the tick in front of "Calendar".
- Now delete the following files from your hard drive (if you want to navigate to the folders in the Finder, open the "Hard drive"> "Library and Caches"> "Preferences" or "Application Support"):
- home / library caches / iCal
- home / library caches / com.apple.iCal
- home / libraryPreferences / com.apple.iCal.plist
- home / libraryPreferences / com.apple.iCal.AlarmScheduler.plist
- home / libraryPreferences / com.apple.iCal.helper.plist
- home / libraryApplication Support / iCal
- Then you have to restart your Mac. After the restart, check the box in front of "Calendar". The iCloud is now working again.
