If you accidentally deleted contacts in iCloud, you can easily restore them. You can read how to do this in this practical tip.
iCloud: restore deleted contacts - how it works
- Before you restore the deleted contacts, be sure to back up the current contact list as a precaution. When you restore the deleted Apple contacts, an earlier version of your contacts is activated. This means that the contacts that you have created or changed afterwards will no longer be visible afterwards.
- However, if you archive the current status of your contact list before restoring the deleted contacts, you can restore the contacts as soon as you have the data of the deleted contact.
- To restore the deleted contacts, first go to "Settings" in iCloud.
- In the "Advanced" area, select "Restore contacts".
- All archived contact lists are then displayed.
- Select the version in which the deleted contacts are located, and then click "Restore".
If you want to edit the iCloud contacts afterwards, read how to do this in the next post.
