Integrate iCloud calendar into your own website - how it works
You can easily integrate an iCloud calendar into your website and thus share events with your readers. In this practical tip we will show you how.
Embed iCloud calendar in website: Share first
To integrate an iCloud calendar into your website, you first have to approve it.
- Log in to iCloud with your Apple ID.
- Click on "Calendar" to open your calendar.
- Select the calendar you want to publish and click on the light gray icon to the right of the calendar (see picture). The context menu asks whether you want to share the calendar privately or publicly. If you tick the box "Public", a link will be displayed below.
- Confirm the approval and copy the link. You can recognize a released calendar by the dark gray icon.
Install iCloud calendar in website
If the calendar is released, you can integrate it into your website using the link.
- After you have copied the code from iCloud for calendar approval, you can easily integrate it as an iFrame at the desired location on your homepage.
- It is better to check again whether you have approved the correct calendar. After all, you certainly don't want to make private things on your website accessible to everyone.
