iCloud up to 5 GB free
Do you use iCloud to save the backup of your iDevice? If five GB is enough for you, the online storage remains free for you. The service only costs money when you need more space.
More storage space: surcharge for expanding iCloud
- If you use iCloud not only to store your backup, but also for pictures, appointments and contacts, the memory fills up quickly. With a paid subscription, you provide enough space.
- Apple offers four levels of upgrade: 50 GB, 200 GB and 1 TB. This incurs monthly costs. The subscription can be canceled at any time.
- 50 GB costs 0.99 euros per month, 200 GB is available for 2.99 euros and 1 TB costs 9.99 euros.
- For comparison: With GoogleDrive you get 15 GB free. A TByte also costs 9.99 euros.
- With Microsoft's OneDrive, 1 TB costs only 7 euros, including a subscription for Office 365.
