IGTV: This is behind Instagram TV
With IGTV, Instagram has its own video feature for all users. This allows longer videos to be uploaded and viewed.
Instagram TV - the new format on Instagram
Before the introduction of IGTV, longer videos had to be divided into individual Instagram stories. Now Instagram makes it much easier for you to share longer videos with followers.
- With Instagram TV you can record and upload videos of up to 60 minutes. In return, you can of course also watch videos of users you follow.
- Incidentally, the format for the videos remains very classic at 9:16. The videos look just like stories on smartphones.
- You can like and comment on videos on Instagram TV as well as photos. If you follow someone on Instagram, they will automatically appear on IGTV.
