iMac: Set up Bluetooth - how it works
If you want to connect your iMac to a Bluetooth device, you have to set up this connection once. We show you step by step how to do this.
Set up Bluetooth on the iMac
- Click on the Apple logo at the top left of the screen and select "System Preferences".
- Select the "Bluetooth" category here and activate the function if necessary.
- Here you can also decide whether you want to see the Bluetooth symbol in your menu bar. Click the "More options" button to find other options for customization.
- To set up a connection between iMac and Bluetooth, you need to activate Bluetooth on the desired device.
- After a few seconds, the device should appear on the iMac. Select the respective devices from each other.
- In most cases, the connection is made directly. Sometimes you also have to set up the connection using an additional number code.
