Connect Apple TV to iMac
You can completely stream videos or programs to your TV with Apple TV. The prerequisite for this is that you have set up your Apple TV and connected it to a WLAN. Your iMac must also be connected to the same network.
- First, make sure your Apple TV is powered and connected to your TV.
- Then you should check if iMac and Apple TV are connected to the same WiFi network. By clicking on the WLAN symbol in the task bar, the name of the network is displayed. You can also see the current network in the Apple TV settings.
- If Apple TV is connected to the same WiFi network as your iMac, an icon for Apple TV now appears in the task bar (see image).
- If you select Apple TV here, the stream will start on your TV. The complete screen is displayed.
- By clicking on "System settings" Open monitors "..." you can also configure the resolution and colors.
