iMac: Clean the keyboard - how it works
If dirt and grime accumulates on your keyboard from the iMac over time, you can clean it with the simplest of means. We show you exactly how to do this.
Clean the keyboard from the iMac
- First, disconnect the keyboard USB cable from the iMac. If the keyboard uses batteries, remove them.
- Now take a lint-free, damp cloth and use it to gently wipe the keyboard. Make sure that no liquid gets into the keyboard.
- A microfiber cloth is also suitable for smaller soiling. With a little pressure, the cloth removes numerous soiling.
- Make sure that the keyboard of the iMac has dried sufficiently afterwards. If water does get into the keyboard, let it dry for several hours.
