iMovie: Save project - how it works
If you would like to save your project as a film in iMovie, we will show you here what you have to do for it.
How to save your iMovie project as a movie
Projects are automatically saved in iMovie on a regular basis. Once you have exported your film, the project remains in iMovie so that you can make subsequent changes:
- At the top of the Deploy setting, choose Export Movie.
- Enter the desired name for the film in the "Export as" field.
- Choose a location from the pop-up menu. If the desired location is not in the list, click on the blue arrow to the right of "Location" and then navigate to the folder you are looking for.
- Now choose a format in which the video should be saved.
- To save the film, click on "Export". You will then find the finished film in the specified location.
- Note: Depending on the scope of your iMovie project, it may take a while for your video or film to be completely saved.
