Change font color in InDesign - how it works
Highlighting a text in InDesign is done with just a few clicks.
- Select the text you want to change in color. Make sure not to select the entire text field, but to activate the cursor by double-clicking on the text. You can then select individual words or entire lines.
- You can see from the color field in the toolbar that a text has been selected. Here you see a capital "T" instead of the foreground color.
- Now just click on "Swatches" and select any color. The selected text is then displayed in this color.
Incidentally, there are also free alternatives to inDesign. We present the top three here.
