ING-DiBa: This is how the login works
After logging in to Diba, you can manage your account online and make transfers. You will find the login on the ING-Diba homepage at the top right. We'll show you exactly how to do it.
1. Login to ING-Diba
- Click on the blue "Log-in Banking" field on the ING-Diba homepage.
- On the new page you must now enter your 10-digit account or custody account number and the Internet banking PIN you received in writing. This is not the same as the Tele-Banking-PIN!
- Then click on "Register" and you will be asked to enter two digits of your personal, six-digit Diba key. This is also the PIN that you will be asked for during the telephone procedure. You must click on the two numbers on the keyboard provided.
- Note: You will receive the PIN, DiBa-Key and the iTAN list in separate envelopes by post. So it may take a few days before you have to log in for the first time.
2. Set up the online banking PIN at Diba
- Immediately after logging in for the first time, you will be asked to set up a personal PIN for your internet banking at ING-Diba. To do this, you must enter the old, written sequence of digits in the first field. Then enter your new PIN. This must have between 5 and 10 characters.
- By re-entering you confirm your new PIN and complete the process with "Apply". For security reasons, you will then be asked to enter an iTAN from your iTAN list. If you use smartphone verification instead (SmartSecure or Banking-To-Go), you will receive a code here. This ensures that this change is not carried out by criminals who accidentally intercepted one of your ING-Diba letters with access data.
3. Create your own Diba Key
- You have to change not only the personal PIN, but also the Diba Key.
- As with the PIN, first enter the old key received in writing and then enter the new six-digit key twice. This may only consist of numbers (combinations such as 123456 are not allowed) and must be clicked on the displayed keyboard.
- You will now be redirected to your account overview and can make your first online transfer.
The pages for internet banking are always encrypted at ING-Diba to ensure the security of your data. You can recognize this, for example, by the green bar in the address bar. We have put together more tips for secure online banking here.
