Ingress invite: How to get an activation key
The augmented reality game ingress is becoming increasingly popular. You will only receive the Activation Key with an Invite. There are three ways to get a key more or less well. We'll show you how it's done.
1. Request an activation key from Ingress
This is the official way, which delivered the code after one minute in the test. However, it depends heavily on Ingress' capacities. Since the game is still in the beta phase, the number of players is increasing slowly. Nevertheless, try it first with these instructions:
- Open the Ingress website and click the "Request an Invite" button.
- Now log in with your Google account. If you do not already have one, we will explain in this practical tip how you can create one.
- If you click the "Allow" button, you will be registered for the service. As soon as an activation code is available, you will be invited by email.
2. Invitation via friends
From level 6, every player can send invitation codes. This then works either by passing on the code or via a personal invitation by email. So if you have friends who also play the game, ask them for a code.
3. Google Plus Community
Since there are also many nice people among the Ingress players, many users post their activation keys in Google+ groups. Numerous keys are released here every day for everyone, just try out the latest ones. One of the largest G + groups is Ingress Passcodes.
