If you want to be successful on Instagram, you should draw attention to yourself. This works, among other things, by liking and commenting on pictures of other accounts or by following these accounts. However, Instagram puts a stop to it if you act too actively.

• Likes and comments should be as authentic as possible and should not only serve to promote your own account. Instagram implements this goal with algorithms that filter unnatural user behavior. That means: If you like too much, your account can be temporarily blocked.
• Assuming you like and comment on a three-digit number of posts within a few minutes, this can be classified as spam. The algorithms can see that you only perform the actions to attract attention yourself.

After a few hours or days, the subscriptions will be removed. If Instagram detects that you are doing this, it can quickly lead to a ban.
• Newly created accounts are particularly under observation. Instagram wants to curb fake accounts that are used to distribute bought likes, for example.
• If you get the message "Action blocked" when using Instagram, you can no longer like or comment on pictures for a while. How long this block lasts is not uniformly regulated, but depends on the seriousness of the violation. Repeat offenders are harder punished. So you only have the option to wait and try again after a few hours. In extreme cases, the lock can last for several days.
