Instagram: how long can videos be?

On Instagram you can not only upload pictures, but also videos. However, the service specifies how long the videos must be. There is an upper and a lower limit.

How long can videos on Instagram be?

• The videos you upload to Instagram must be at least three and a maximum of 60 seconds long.
• If a video does not meet these criteria, you cannot publish it.
• You can edit a video on Instagram - as known from the photos - with different color filters.
• If your video is too long or you want to add more effects, you can cut and edit it online.
