- Reboot: In some cases it helps to switch off the smartphone and restart it. Small errors in the buffer are thus deleted.
- SD card: The problem is often solved by formatting the SD card. You can read how this works in the next paragraph.
- Reset: If the problem has still not been solved afterwards, the only thing left to do is to reset to the factory settings.
Format SD card due to installation error
If there are important files on your SD card, you should first back up the data on the computer. If you don't know what is on the SD card, insert it into the computer and look through all the folders.
- Open the "Settings" app and switch to the "Options" in the top left.
- Select the "Remove SD card" option under the "Storage" category.
- Switch off your smartphone, remove the card and insert it into your computer.
- Press the [Windows] and [R] keys simultaneously so that the Explorer opens.
- Find the memory card and right-click on the entry. Select the "Format" option here.
- Change the file system to "FAT32" and click on the "Start" button below.
- Depending on the size of the SD card, the process may take a few moments. You can then insert the SD card back into your smartphone and start the download again.
