Internet Explorer: export favorites - how it works
If you export your favorites from Internet Explorer, you can conveniently use your bookmarks on any browser on another computer. So you can surf the Internet as usual on your favorite sites.
Export Internet Explorer favorites
- Start Internet Explorer and click on the "Favorites" symbol in the form of a star in the top right.
- Select the drop-down arrow next to the "Add to favorites" button and then the "Import and export ..." option.
- A new window is opening up. Check the box next to "Export to file" and click "Next".
- Check "Favorites" and select "Next" again.
- Now you can either select all favorites or special favorites like "MSN websites". Mark the desired data and click on "Next".
- Finally, select a folder on your computer to which you want to export your favorites.
- After you click on "Export", Internet Explorer saves your favorites in an HTML file.
