Internet Explorer: import bookmarks into IE

You can import your bookmarks into Internet Explorer either from another browser or via a previously saved file. We'll show you how it's done.

Internet Explorer: import bookmarks

1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the star in the top right, the favorites icon.
2. Click on the small button at the top right and select the "Import and Export" option (see picture).
3. If you choose "Import from another browser", all you have to do is select a browser and click on "Import".
4. If you opt for the "Import from file" option, first choose what content you want to transfer. You can choose from favorites, feeds and cookies.
5. In the next step, navigate to the path of the saved file and click on "Next" and "Import".
