• Each episode of the six-episode series by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar will be approximately 40 minutes long.
• The story is based on the Chinese fable "The Journey to the West".
• It is not yet clear which German streaming service is securing the rights to Into the Badlands. However, it is likely that the English version will be shown shortly after the premiere on Amazon Prime Instant Video.
