iOS 8.1: reception problem or no reception - what to do?
Reception problems have appeared repeatedly on iPhone and iPad since iOS 8.1. If you have no reception, we will show you in our instructions what you can do.

- Restart: Switch the device off and on again. Small errors in the buffer are thus deleted.
- Soft reset: If this does not help, hold down the power and home button for about 10 seconds. Then switch the device on again.
- Flight mode: Even if the problem is not resolved in the long term, activate the flight mode in the event of problems. You can find this at the top in the "Settings" app. You can deactivate it again after about 5 seconds.
- SIM card: Remove the SIM card and wipe the chip with a slightly damp finger or handkerchief. Then insert the SIM card again.
iOS 8.1: iCloud-Drive leads to reception problems
Some users also report problems with iCloud Drive. After disabling the service, reception problems have been resolved in some cases.
- First open the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Select the "iCloud" category below.
- Tap on "iCloud Drive" and deactivate the function.
