iOS 9: Arrange apps side by side
What Windows and Android have been able to do for a long time is now also possible under iOS 9. If you arrange two apps side by side, you can use them simultaneously thanks to Multi-Touch. We show you how to activate the new function.
iOS 9: Use two apps side by side in parallel
- Open any app on your iPad and swipe your finger from the right edge of the screen to the left.
- Here you will find a selection of different apps that you can open parallel to the current app. Simply select the application you want.
- To switch to another application, place your finger on the top right of the screen and swipe down. Now you can choose another app.
- There is a limitation between the two apps. If you place your finger on the middle of this boundary, you can move it to the left and right. For example, an app takes up a third of the screen, or both applications share half of the screen.
