You can also use your iPad as an external hard drive if you don't have a USB stick at hand. This practical tip shows you how to connect the iPad.
Use iPad as an external hard drive
- Download and install the free iDevice Manager program. Then connect your iPad to the computer and open iDevice Manager.
- Switch to the "Storage medium" category above and you will see the "Storage" folder on the left. You can transfer all the required data to this folder.
- Click the "Transfer" button below and select the "Files" or "Folders" option.
- You can then select the desired files or folders from your PC and transfer them to the iPad using the "Open" button.
- If you would like to transfer the files back to a computer later, simply mark the folder with the mouse and click on the "Download" button.
