iPad: GMX does not send emails - what to do?
Emails can also be conveniently sent from the iPad. But what to do if the iPad stops sending GMX emails? In this article we show you what you can do about it.
GMX: Emails are not sent from the iPad
If you can't send GMX emails from your iPad, that's annoying. Follow the troubleshooting tips below:
- Do you have an active internet connection? To check this, you can open any page in your browser. If it does not load, something is wrong with the Internet connection.
- A simple restart of the device can sometimes help - especially if the devices are in continuous operation.
- Did you enter the correct GMX server data? Use the "POP 3" protocol for the incoming mail server and the address "pop.gmx.net" with port 995. You should activate the encryption.
- The outgoing mail server has the address "mail.gmx.net" and the port 587. Here you have to select the encryption "STARTTLS" or "TLS".
- To further isolate the error, you can install the GMX app for test purposes. You can find these in our download area.
- If sending emails works in the app, you may have made an incorrect configuration.
- Your account may also have been blocked due to suspected spam.
