If your iPad hangs during startup and then stops responding, you can fix the error using iTunes.
- Connect the iPad to your computer and start iTunes.
- If you don't have a computer on hand at the moment, you can also go to an Apple store or authorized dealer to connect your tablet there.
- Now press the standby and home button until you see the Apple logo and then the "recovery mode" is displayed.
