iPhone: Answer the rejected call with an automatic message
You can answer rejected calls on your iPhone with an automatic message. We'll show you how it works and how to enter your own messages.
Answer a rejected call on iPhone with a message
- If you receive a call, you will see the buttons "Accept" and "Decline" below. To the right is a telephone handset that you can pull up.
- The buttons "Reply with message" and "Remind me later" appear. Click on "Reply with message", you will see all the pre-made messages.
- If you select one of these, it will be sent to the caller via SMS (possibly subject to a charge).
Create your own templates for automatic replies
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down to "Phone".
- Select the "Reply with message" option.
- Here you can set up a total of three pre-made messages according to your wishes (see picture).
The practical tip refers to iOS 6.1.3 on the iPhone 4.
