iPhone as UK goods: what's the difference?
An iPhone is usually cheaper to buy as a UK product in Germany. We explain the difference between UK imports and iPhones that are made for the German market.
iPhone as UK goods: the device itself
The iPhone itself is usually always produced the same, no matter in which part of the world it will be sold later. The difference is limited to packaging and accessories.
iPhone from abroad: packaging and accompanying documents
On the back of the iPhone packaging is what is included with the iPhone and what you still need to be able to use the iPhone (mobile phone contract, Apple ID, etc.). You will not find this information for the UK goods in German and French, but in English. The info documents on the iPhone and the limited warranty are also only supplied in English for UK imports.
The power adapter of the imported iPhone
Only a UK plug is supplied with the UK model as a power adapter, which cannot be connected to the German power grid. However, if you order the UK goods from a dealer in Germany, you will usually receive the Euro plug with them. It usually hangs on the outside of the packaging.
