Turn off iPhone calls on iPad and Mac
If you have activated Facetime on iPhone, Mac and iPad, it rings when calls are made on all three devices. The function can be switched off using the appropriate options. We'll show you how it works on Mac and iPad.
Mac: Turn off calls from iPhone
- First, open the pre-installed "Facetime" program on your Mac.
- Click on "Facetime" in the top left of the menu and select the "Settings".
- If you deactivate the "iPhone radio network calls" option, your Mac will no longer ring.
iPad: Disable call forwarding from iPhone
- Open the "Settings" app and select the "Facetime" category below.
- If you deactivate the "iPhone mobile calls" option, the iPad will no longer ring for calls on your iPhone.
- Note that from now on you can no longer make Facetime calls from the iPad via the radio connection of the iPhone.
