iPhone: Record calls - how it works
If you want to record calls on your iPhone, this does not work without detours. We'll show you how it works.
iPhone: record calls
There are two different ways you can start a conversation. Both require a bit of effort since Apple has not built this feature in. Attention: Recording of calls is only allowed if you agree to the recording.
- App: You can use the free TapeACall Lite app to record your calls via the app. You have to add a German landline number to the call for each call. The TapeACall service will record the call and you will then receive it in the app, from which you can export it by email. The free version only allows recordings up to 60 seconds. The full version currently costs 9 euros.
- Jailbreak: Much more convenient and, above all, free of charge, the whole thing runs via a jailbreak. If you want to jailbreak your iPhone, you have to weigh the problems and dangers. If you have installed the jailbreak on your iPhone, you can install the "Audio Recorder" app via Cydia. When calling, you will find a small button at the top left that you can use to record the conversation.
