iPhone App Switcher: delete favorites and history
The favorites and the history of the iPhone's app switcher are actually practical functions. You can also delete them. We show you how to do this in this practical tip.
Change app switch from iOS 8: delete favorites and history
If you tap your home button twice in quick succession, the app switcher opens. Here you can quickly switch between the open apps. At this point, the history and your favorites are displayed. If you do not want this to be displayed here, then proceed as follows.
- Open the "Settings" and go to "Mail, Contacts, Calendar".
- In the "Contacts" section, tap "In the app switch" and move the sliders for "Favorites" and "Last contacts" to the left, so that they are no longer displayed in green, meaning they are no longer activated.
