iPhone: No display calibration possible
- The iOS system that runs on every iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is relatively closed and allows hardly any interference with the system. This is primarily for security.
- Apple itself does not offer calibration of the display. The implementation is therefore not possible. If you have problems with the display, other means can help.
Problems with the iPhone display: solutions without calibration
- Restart: Turn your iPhone completely off and then on again. This eliminates some problems directly.
- Foil: If the display does not perceive touches correctly, this can also be due to a protective foil. Such films partially reduce accuracy.
- Dirt: Dirt on the display can also cause bad reactions on the display. It is best to wipe it with a microfiber cloth, a damp cloth will do the trick if necessary.
iPhone: color calibration for the display
- If you don't want to adjust the position of the display, but the colors, you can do this with a special tool. Due to the closed system from Apple, the changes are only applied in one app.
- With the Spyder4 and Spyder4Gallery app, you can perform a color calibration of your iPhone and iPad display. This enables you to view your images with better color values. Such a function is usually only interesting for photographers.
