Photos can be easily transferred from the iPhone to the iPad. You can read exactly how this works in this practical tip.
Possibility 1: Photos on the iPad with automatic photo transfer
The first option allows you to set all photos to be synchronized on two devices.
- Call up the settings of your iPhone.
- Scroll down and then switch to the "Photos & Camera" settings.
- Under "Photo Stream", switch the "My Photo Stream" option to "On" so that all photos are synchronized.
- You must also make these settings on the iPad. The procedure is identical.
- If both devices are linked to the same Apple ID, you do not need to make any further settings.
- If not, you need to connect both devices with iCloud. To do this, enter your user name and the corresponding password under "iCloud" in the settings on both devices. The photos are already transferred automatically.
Option 2: Transfer individual pictures from iPhone to iPad
You can also easily transfer individual images using this method.
- Switch back to the "Photos & Camera" setting and switch the "My Photo Stream" option to "Off". However, the setting "Shared photo streams" must be switched on.
- Then switch to the Photos app on your iPhone.
- Touch "Photo Stream" below.
- To create a new photo stream, you must tap the "+" symbol at the top.
- Then enter a name for the stream and whether it should be available on a public website.
- Now switch back to the album view and select the photos you want to transfer.
- Tap Share and then tap Photo Stream to add the photos to your photo stream.
- To access the photos on the iPad, start the photo app and tap on "Photo stream" below. Any photos you copy to this album will be synced automatically.
