iPhone: delete saved WLAN - how it works
If you have connection problems or constant speed drops, you can delete the WiFi profile on your iPhone and reconnect. We'll show you how.
Delete individual WiFi profiles on iPhone
If you only have problems with a certain WiFi network, you can delete all settings for this access.
- To do this, open the "Settings" on your iPhone and then the "WLAN" area.
- Tap the blue "i" icon to the right of the WLAN entry you want to delete.
- In the following menu tap on "Ignore this network". The WiFi profile will now be deleted from your iPhone. When you reconnect to the network, you can re-enter your data.
Delete saved WLAN with network settings
If you have general problems with your WLAN, you can reset all of your network settings.
- To do this, first open the "Settings" and then the "General" entry.
- Here tap on "Reset" and "Network Settings".
- Enter your security code and confirm with "Reset". You now delete all of your network settings and reset them to the factory settings. You can then reconnect to any WiFi network.
