iPhone: activate guided access - how it works
If you activate Guided Access on your iPhone, you can limit access to a specific app. We'll show you how it's done.
Step 1: activate Guided Access on iPhone
If guided access is activated in an app, the application cannot be closed or closed. The iPhone can only be fully accessed again with a code. First you have to turn on the function:
- Open the "Settings" on your iPhone.
- You will find the "Accessibility" under the "General" category.
- Scroll down to the bottom and you will see "Guided Access".
- If you activate the function of the same name here, further settings will be displayed.
- Under "Code Settings" you can use a permanent code to control the mode.
Step 2: apply guided access to iPhone
- Start the desired app and press the home button three times in succession. Now enter your code.
- If you want to block certain areas in the app, you can simply circle them with your finger. This area cannot then be touched.
- If you select the "Options" at the bottom left, you can make further settings. Among other things, you can limit access to a certain time or switch off the keyboard.
