iPhone: Deactivate haptic feedback - how it works
A new feature from Apple is built into the iPhone 7: Taptic Engine. You can deactivate this haptic feedback if you don't want to use it. We'll show you how.
Disable haptic feedback on iPhone 7
Apple has introduced the haptic feedback with the iPhone 7. A kind of vibration motor makes the iPhone vibrate briefly when you use a slider or 3D touch. You can deactivate haptic feedback for most applications. The haptic feedback cannot be switched off only when using 3D Touch.
- Open the settings on your iPhone.
- Tap the "Sounds and Haptics" entry on the left.
- At the bottom you will find the item "System haptics". Deactivate the function and close the Settings app.
On the next page we will show you an overview of all the new functions of the iPhone 7.
