If the home button rotates on your iPhone, the defect is relatively rare. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
Guarantee: The home button on the iPhone turns
- If you bought the device less than a year ago, it is still under warranty. In this case, the repair at Apple should be free. If the error already existed when it was used for the first time, the device may be exchanged directly.
- First check the warranty status at Apple and then make an appointment in the Apple Store. An appointment is advisable, but not absolutely necessary. Visiting an Apple retail store is also possible.
iPhone repair: home button rotates
- If the defect is no longer covered by the warranty with the home button, you have to take care of the repair yourself. Either you carry out the intervention yourself or you have the home button replaced by a specialist. Note that for security reasons, Touch-ID only works with the original Apple home button.
