iPhone & iPad: App Store doesn't charge - you can do that
If the app store no longer loads updates or new apps on your iPhone or iPad, this may be due to a poor connection. We will show you how to check the network connection to your iPhone or iPad and how to fix the problem.
Update: App Store partially down
There is currently a malfunction in the Apple App Store:
- The store's homepage does not load. However, all other areas seem to work.
- At the moment, you can only wait until Apple has fixed the problem.
iPhone / iPad: App Store does not download updates or apps
- Turn on flight mode, wait a few seconds, and then turn it off. The process is now stopped and can be started again.
- If it is only a small app with a size of a few MByte, you can briefly switch to the mobile network. Deactivate the WLAN connection and try the update or installation again.
- If that doesn't help either, switch your iPhone or iPad completely off and on again. This eliminates small errors in the buffer.
- Finally, the App Store remains on your computer. Connect your iOS device to your PC or Mac using the USB cable and download the app via iTunes.

- It may also be a problem with Apple. You can find the status of all services on the following Apple website. If the app store is not marked in green, there is an internal error.
- In this case, not only you, but also other users are affected. Usually only one thing helps here: wait. Such problems are usually resolved after a few minutes to hours.
