iPhone / iPad: copy and paste pictures
In this practical tip, we explain how to copy and then paste pictures on the iPhone or iPad. You can also apply the approach to almost any other Apple device with a touch function.
Instructions: Copy and paste pictures on iPhone / iPad
- First find a picture or photo you want to copy. Such media can be in your photo library, document, or website.
- Then hold your finger on the image until a "Copy" button appears. Copy the picture by clicking the "Copy" button.
- Now find an application that allows you to insert pictures and photos. You can use a short message application or an email service, for example.
- In a final step, tap and hold your finger on the input field provided until an "Insert" button appears. The image you copied will be inserted as soon as you tap the button.
- Keep in mind that not all websites allow images to be copied. In addition, images and photos can only be inserted in the input fields provided. If you insert an image into a text entry field, in some cases only the image code can be displayed.
