iPhone / iPad: Disable JavaScript in Safari
This practical tip explains how to deactivate JavaScript on your iPhone in the Safari browser. In this way you protect yourself against manipulation of dubious websites that try to exploit gaps or errors in your system with JavaScript.
Disable JavaScript in the Safari browser on iPhone or iPad
- Press the Settings app.
- Scroll down a little and choose "Safari".
- Scroll all the way down and tap "Advanced."
- Move the slider at "JavaScript" to the left.
