If you want to know how strong the battery of your iPhone is, you have to read out the charging cycles already carried out. In this practical tip, we will show you how.
iPhone: What do the charging cycles say?
- Modern lithium-ion batteries are comparatively powerful, but they only have a limited lifespan. With each battery charge, the capacity decreases a little.
- According to Apple, after 400 to 500 charging cycles, 80 percent of the original capacity should still be available at best. In some cases, however, a battery can wear out much faster.
