Location services help your apps query your current location. This practical tip shows you how to deactivate location services on the iPhone and iPad.
Disable location services on your iPhone or iPad - you have to do that
- Switch to the settings of your iOS device and select the "Privacy" menu item.
- Here you will find the item "Location services". Tap on it.
- Now move the slider next to "Location services" to the left to deactivate the location services.
- With the selection "Deactivate" you confirm the process.
- You can also make the settings for individual apps below the slider and thus decide which app you want to activate the location services for. To do this, tap the app and set whether the app wants the services "Always", "Never" or "When using" to be activated.
