iPhone: Set up and delete call forwarding
If you are temporarily unavailable on your iPhone, you can set up call forwarding. This is possible with just a few steps. This practical tip shows you how to do this.
Set up and remove call forwarding on iPhone
You have set up call forwarding in just a few steps. To do this, simply open the "Phone" category in the "Settings" and then "Call forwarding". After entering the desired number, all incoming calls are automatically forwarded.
Step 1:
Open the "Settings" app and select the "Phone" category.
Step 2:
Approximately in the middle you will find the item "Call forwarding".
Step 3:
To activate call forwarding, flip the switch.
Step 4:
Now enter the number to which you want to forward your calls.
Step 5:
If you go back, call forwarding is activated. You can see this from the telephone symbol in the status bar. If you flip the switch, forwarding is deactivated again.
Call forwarding can incur costs
Even if the call is only forwarded, there are still costs for the diversion. The costs are at least in the amount of a normal conversation in the respective network. Only a few providers and contracts still offer the service free of charge. Contact your wireless service provider for more information.
