If you get the error message "Page cannot be opened" on Safari on your iPhone, you can usually fix this problem yourself quickly. In this practical tip we will tell you what you can do about it.
iPhone: page cannot be opened - so proceed
- First press the [Home] button to close the browser.
- Then tap and hold the Safari logo a little more firmly.
- Wait for Safari's 3D touch menu to open. This function is available from iPhone 6s.
- Then select the entry "New tab" and the error message disappears. Now you can surf again.
- Note: Please note that this method works from iPhone 6s and other models are not supported.
