If you want to synchronize the data on your iPhone, this works via iTunes, iCloud or independent software. We present all three options to you.
iTunes: sync iPhone
- Connect your iPhone to your computer with a USB cable and start iTunes.
- Select your iPhone in the top left and you will find various areas such as apps, music, films and photos on the left.
- For example, select the category "Info". Here you can activate options and thus synchronize your notes, bookmarks, calendars or contacts with different programs.
- Once you have selected the desired data or songs for synchronization, always click on the "Synchronize" button at the bottom right.
- Depending on how much data is transferred, the process can take a few seconds to minutes.
Sync iPhone via iCloud
- Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone and select the "iCloud" category there.
- If necessary, log in here with your Apple ID. You can then sync your data wirelessly through iCloud.
- If you activate the respective options such as photos, mail, contacts and calendar, all content is backed up online at Apple.
- If you use another Apple device or edit the information on iCloud.com, all selected data is always synchronized.
Sync iPhone without iTunes
- If you don't want to bind to iTunes, you can also synchronize your iPhone using independent software.
- With the CopyTrans Suite you get several tools with which you can synchronize among other things the music, contacts and photos on your iPhone.
- In the CopyTrans Suite you will only find demo versions with a limited runtime. However, the individual tools can also be loaded individually without installation as a full version: CopyTrans Contacts for contacts and CopyTrans Manager for music.
