iPhone: Read texts aloud - how it works
If you don't want to read texts on your iPhone yourself, you can have them read to you. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
iPhone: Activate reading function
- Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone and select the "General" category there.
- Under "Accessibility" you will find the "Read selection" option. Implement the switch of the same name here.
- You can also make some other settings. The "highlight words" function is used to mark the spoken word. Under "Voices" you can download a higher quality voice and adjust the reading speed.
iPhone: Read texts aloud
- Open any application, such as the "Messages", "Mails" or "Notes".
- Hold your finger on the text to open a small selection menu.
- Tap on "All" to select all the text. The text is read out using the "Speak" option.
