iPhone: Record and send video in slow motion
With an iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, you can record and send videos in slow motion. We'll show you exactly how it works.
Step 1: record iPhone videos in slow motion
- Open the camera app on your iPhone and switch to the "Slo-Mo" category below.
- If you tap the red button, normal recording starts. If you hold down the white button at the bottom left, the video recording starts in slow motion.
- You can press the slow motion button as often as you like and adjust the slow motion sequences so precisely. When you have finished recording, tap the red button again.
- To save the videos in a compatible format, you need an app like "TruSloMo" or "Slo-Mo Export". However, these cost 89 and 99 cents.
- Start the app and import the video you just recorded. If desired, the videos can now be edited somewhat. The tools then convert the video and save it back in your recordings.
- From there you can share it directly with your friends via email, YouTube or Facebook - or transfer it to your computer via USB cable.
